LETTER TO THE SLC SCHOOL BOARD:
This is to let you know that we have reached a tentative agreement with the District Staff concerning the proposed privatization of Custodial Services. CWA will be bringing this tentative agreement to a vote this Saturday. The only reason we are bringing this to ratification is because your staff told us this was the only way they would agree to keep the Custodial Services in-house. So, you see, we had no other choice but to agree and bring it to the workers. Be advised that we were told by administration we had to ratify this proposal by the Board Meeting May 14th.
